In 2018 Blue Heron secured an opportunity to invest as co-GP in the development of a well-located, 300-unit garden-style apartment community in the Maitland submarket of Orlando. The project is located on a lake in a high-end suburban community in north Orlando, with proximity to over 12 million sq. ft. of office space. The developer is a group with whom Blue Heron has invested in four other projects over the past five years.


Closing on the land occurred in May of 2018. Sitework and construction of building pads are underway.
